It’s hard to put a price on a return on investment. You feel like they care about not just us, but our employees, and trying to do what’s right.
It has been really beneficial as the economy ebbs and flows. So when unemployment is really low and we’re competing against other staffing agencies for the same pool of candidates, it’s great to be able to offer good benefits to those candidates.
The communication that we’ve had is great. I always feel like if I need something, there’s always someone there that I can reach out to. It’s usually a quick response, so that’s always a positive. It’s not only beneficial to the employee that has the option to enroll in benefits, but to stand out from other staffing companies and to have that advantage. It’s important to be able to say we offer this to our temporary employees.
I know employees really appreciate it, you know, they get excited about it. It makes them feel better about their position. Recently, we have been overwhelmed with all the changes to employee benefits in the state of Illinois, and you have been front and center to all that action. There have been massive changes and lots of uncertainty as to how employers are to administer benefits, but you have become a subject matter expert in this area. Your wisdom has shined through with all that you have learned.
It doesn’t matter when we call or emailed, you always pick up or replied. I’m positive that you had other priorities to tend to, but you were willing to change those to meet with us. That made us feel supported and made us feel like [our company] was important to you.
As confusing as all this has been, you really have broken what needs to be done down and communicated it in a manner that was easier to understand. Lord Has Mercy Orphanage in Kisii, Kenya, is home to 56 children. More than a building, it is a place shaped by relationships, learning, faith, and the steady care of people committed to each child’s future.
Through ongoing support, the children have access to safe housing, nutritious food, clean water, education, healthcare, and opportunities that help provide a strong foundation for the future.
Together, these resources create a stable, supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and prepare for the future.
A Personal Note

Seven years ago, my prayers were answered when God connected me with a small orphanage in Kisii, Kenya with 56 starving children. I just got back and it was amazing! My heart warms every time I see these kids.
Meet Angie (pictured). Angie was left in the dirt outside the orphanage gate five years ago as a newborn baby. She recently turned 5, and through the love and support of generous donors including RightPath Benefits, she is now thriving. She’s the #1 English speaker in her grade, and she has the best “belly laugh” you’ve ever heard!
My wife and I donated our daughter Sophie’s stuffed animals to the orphanage, and little Angie picked the one with the silk pajamas, which just happened to be Sophie’s favorite! I sensed my daughter smiling from Heaven.
When my daughter Sophie was in treatment for an eating disorder, she helped to save another girl who was struggling with anorexia by convincing her to admit herself into a program. That girl credited Sophie for saving her life and sent this teddy bear as a thank you. I’m happy this teddy bear continues to bring smiles.
❤️ I love you Sophie 🌈 and miss you so much. Thank you for fighting the good fight. I’ll see you again someday!
The Impact
The children once slept crowded together in a tiny dirt-floor hut. In late 2019, Aaron committed to building them a proper home and reached out to friends and family for support. Over time, that effort grew into a larger facility that provides the children with a safer, more stable place to sleep and live, while also creating space to support the people who care for them.
Food
In 2019, the children had no reliable food supply, and starvation was a real threat. Since then, the orphanage has developed a two-acre farm growing corn, bananas, kale, pineapple, beans, and other crops, while cows provide milk and hens provide eggs. Ongoing donations also help cover staple foods and everyday cooking needs, helping provide consistent, nutritious meals for the 56 children while supporting the orphanage’s goal of greater self-sufficiency.
Water
The children once had to walk miles every day just to find water, often relying on whatever source they could reach. Today, large water tanks at the orphanage collect rainwater and provide a much more reliable source for daily needs. What was once a difficult and time-consuming journey for something as basic as water has become a safer, more dependable part of life for the children.
Medicine
Medical care remains one of the orphanage’s most important ongoing needs, with donations helping cover medicine and hospital treatment when children are sick or injured. Newton has been supported through medical school with a plan to give back by caring for the children and farm animals. The orphanage is also working to complete a doctor’s office where he can provide free care to the children while generating income to help support the orphanage’s future.
Education
Education has become an important part of building a brighter future for the children. Donations help cover school fees, books, pencils, and other supplies so the children can attend school and continue learning. That support is already producing remarkable results, with several students earning scholarships to magnet schools, Edna receiving an opportunity to study engineering at Moi University, and Newton advancing to medical school as he works toward a career caring for others.

Fred’s story has grown far beyond the orphanage. Now an English teacher and basketball coach, he leads a girls’ team made up of students from struggling families at his school. The team practices on a dirt court, often arriving early at tournaments just to adjust to the bounce of a real basketball court. Despite being newcomers, they won three of four games and earned their way to a championship final, proudly naming themselves the RightPath Queens.
For many of the girls, traveling six hours to Nairobi was their first time leaving their hometown. What began as an unlikely team became an opportunity to compete, travel, and experience something they had never imagined for themselves.
